Kidzone provides a fun, nurturing, and most of all safe environment for the children of the Comox Valley area to spend their day. Our well-trained, dedicated staff knows the importance of communication with parents to ensure that each child is having the best possible day care experience.
Our Centre
Conveniently located in the Puntledge Park area in Courtenay, our centre welcomes children across a range of ages and developmental stages. We offer an engaging, safe space filled with activities, games, and opportunities for kids to develop valuable life and social skills. Above all, we want your child to look forward to their afternoons with us at KidZone!

As childcare providers, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment to learn and grow. We support the whole child by offering opportunities to develop physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
We know that children learn best through play and hands-on exploration. By encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and self-expression, our goal is to foster confidence and positive relationships every afternoon.
Our Mission
We have been providing child care services to the Comox Valley since 1997. At KidZone, our mission is to provide inclusive care that respects the unique background, beliefs, and values of every family we serve. We work in close partnership with parents to build trusted, supportive relationships, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.
Our Staff
The core staff at KidZone hold certified training in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECE) or carry the designation of Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA). Team members also hold specialized training in areas such as special needs support and inclusive care. We actively support our team’s professional growth through ongoing workshops and education.
Throughout the year, we proudly host practicum students from local college Early Childhood Care and Education programs. As they work toward their certification, they assist with daily routines, organize activities, and interact with the children under full supervision.
Your child’s safety is paramount. Every member of our team, including staff, substitutes, volunteers, and practicum students, is required to have a cleared Criminal Record Check on file.
